BIKE SHOW RULES
These rules are based more on common sense than convention and are intended to make classification of the bikes in the various categories, and the judging of the show as straightforward and fair as possible.
1. All bikes entered in the show must be parked in the designated show area between the hours of 12.00am and 4pm on Saturday and 1200am and 2pm on Sunday 2nd May
2. All bikes entered into the show must be registered for the road and be fully road legal (show plates allowed). Bikes may be trailered to the event but must be fully functioning, you may be asked to start your bike.
3. Each bike entered must have a Bike Show entry form attached to it or prominently displayed near to it. The entry form must be fully completed and can be obtained from the BMAD command tent.
4. Judging will take place at 2pm on Sunday in the show area. The winning bike in each class will have an award noticeattached to it by the judges.
5. All class winning bikes must be moved to the prize giving area after judging by 3pm
6. The award of Best Club Stand will be given at the discretion of the BMAD Committee and will take into account innovation, tidiness, ease of access, availabilty of information and the level of commitment shown by the club members to their cause.
7. Trophies and prizies for each class will be awarded at the prize giving area at approximately 3pm on Sunday
8. Each class winner in the bike show and the winner of Best Club Stand will be awarded a cash prize of £100. The bike judged Best In Show will be awarded a trophy and cash prize of £150 and will come from the class winners.
9. Prizes will be awarded according to the opinion of the judges, whose discretion will be final. Some entrants will undoubtedly feel the decision is unfair or incorrect but as we are all human, and therefore fallible, there will be no discussion or recriminations after the event.
