Bikers Make A Difference (BMAD)

Thats it once again for yet another fantastic year at the Festival. Thank you to everyone that has attended our event, because as you know, without your support, we could not carry on putting on these weekend festival or the bike nights. Many thanks to all the sponsors and traders for their ongoing support and we look forward to seeing you all again next year.. Thank you to the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary and Torbay, and Devon County Councils. A big thank you to Simon and Alison Du'vey (hope i have Spelt that right?) for putting on the fair and also for feeding and watering all the marshalls free of charge all weekend. Thanks to Ken Fox's Wall Of Death for putting on their fantastic show and for their help with public announcements.. Ok..so now I am rambling on.. I think by now you have got the message...

I have just received total monies taken for the festival. These figures have been provided by Derek Mills,Treasurer.

Bike Festival     £14,104.00               Merchandise      £4,925.50       Total     £19,029.50

For the small minority of you that felt we should not be asking for a small donation of £4.00 per bike, I hope you enjoyed the show as the rest of us did, and maybe, just maybe, after seeing the Festival, you may now feel that its worth your £4.00 knowing that someone in need is going to benifit from your generousity. Without people like you and I, for example,The Air Ambulance would not be able to continue its valued service to those in life and death situation.

Please note that we are a Committee of only 10 people, and we receive no payement and work purely voluntarily in the hope that our Festivals and Bike nights can provide a great gathering of bikers, and to raise money.

We will now take a short break before starting to arrange next years Festival..

Ride safe and see you at Bike nights.

Budda..
