Without our BMAD marshals, neither the ever popular award winning BMAD Paignton Bike Festival, nor the Wednesday Bike Nights would be able to take place. The marshals are the unsung heroes of BMAD, giving up their free time so that others can enjoy all our events.

This page has been set up for the benefit of current, and those wanting to become, BMAD Marshals.

We are currently in the process of recruiting new volunteer marshals for our festival and bike nights. It’s fun and rewarding being part of the BMAD team and family.

Marshals have a great responsibility in keeping the festival and bike nights running smoothly. We are looking for people that are able to commit several hours throughout the weekend of the festival this year. We are happy if you can just spare a few hours, it all helps. You will be asked to provide assistance as and where needed across the whole festival. This will include gate duty, motorcycle marshalling – directional parking, leaflet distribution, litter picking and general public assistance.

So who can be a Marshal?

You have to be aged 18 or over and have good people skills.

For further info please contact our Marshal Coordinator using the contact form or at marshalling@bmad.co.uk or speak to any BMAD team member at any of the Bike Nights or Festival. You can also find us at the Spinning Wheel Inn on Wednesday evenings from 7pm for our social nights through the winter months.
